Costalunga: my little corner of paradise

Now that the focus on the weed management in the vineyard is high, I’d also like to express my opinion on how we avoid herbicides.
To look at the vines almost all covered with high grass is something I personally like a lot.
Because in the vineyard it is all about making wine grapes and not gardening.
It is not just a matter of personal taste though; high vegetation between the rows in this period of the year can protect the vines from downy mildew’s attack (peronospora), and it helps producers to delay the starting of treatments.
In the next weeks we will make the grass cleaning in the inter-row using the tipping machine.

Hospitality

The winery is opened to the public every day. You may taste andpurchase the wines from our production; all major credit cards are accepted.

Entry to our cellar is free, our opening hours are :

Monday to Friday: 08.30 - 12.30 and 14.30 - 19.00.

Saturday: 08.30 - 12.30 / closed afternoon.
