Cirotto Winery was established in 1949, in the splendid and historical setting of Asolo, a graceful medieval town, also known as the“City of Wine”, nestled in foothills of the Dolomite mountains.
The passion for wine has run through three generations of our family: Giovanni was behind the rapid expansion of the firm founded in 1949 by Leandro, founding father of the winery. The year 2000 marked a turning point: Cantina Cirotto acquired their first estates and start to cultivate their own vineyards, taking care of the whole production chain from the vine to the bottle. Today the grandchildren Monica, Barbara and Gilberto are bringing fresh energy and innovation to this family-run enterprise, devoting themselves to collecting the heritage of the “Montello e Colli Asolani” wine growing region. Francesco, Monica’s husband, plays a major part as under his direction the winery aims at delivering wines of distinctive character, bearing his personal signature.
