A unique and important red wine with strong personality, which comes through on the nose with an explosion of small red berry flavours along with vivid spicy notes and hints of cinnamon. An elegant mineral note of graphite runs through the middle of this rich red. On the palate the fruit shows the intense extracted richness; full bodied with elegant velvety tannins. Balanced and authentic, it should hold well and surprise you even after several years. The Asolo and Montello hills have highly generous soils, where superior quality red wines are achieved. In 2011, the new recognition of "Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin - MONTELLO ROSSO DOCG", represents another important achievment for this small wine-producing region of high quality wines.
